Many of the programs offered by the Arab-American Family Support Center rely on the generous support of individuals like you. Your tax-deductible contributions help us provide comprehensive social services to meet the changing needs of the New York City immigrant community. Honor someone special with a meaningful gift by supporting AAFSC's programs in their name. Monthly Giving
Want to donate a specific amount directly to AAFSC on a monthly basis? Make a reoccurring tax-deductible donation in support of our programs. Sponsor a small business and change a woman's life.
You can directly impact the lives of women in our community who are struggling to provide for their families. Help a woman lead her family out of poverty by making a tax-deductible contribution toward the purchase of materials needed to start her small business. The women in our program participate in a small cooperative and sell their hand-made crafts in stores and on our website. Donations can be made in the amounts of $50, $100, $150, $200 or more. Sponsor a student in our Adult Education program.
With cuts to funding, it has become increasingly more difficult to provide a number of classes to our adult education students. You can help by sponsoring a student to attend our program and providing them with a tool to help them succeed in their newly adopted country. A donation of $500 will allow one student to attend an ESL or literacy class for one semester. Purchase everyday items for our clients.
Many of our clients cannot afford to purchase basic items for their families or gifts for their children. We've created an Amazon Wish List with items that our clients have requested. Gifts must be shipped to our office (150 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11201) and we will distribute them to our clients. Once you have purchased a gift, send us an e-mail (info@aafscny.org) and we'll send you a tax-deductible receipt for your generous donation.
