Zakia Bifergaane

Case Planner




Zakia Bifergaane joined AAFSC in 2012 as a Preventive Case Planner. She has eleven years of social work experience. She has worked in large cities assisting distressed patients and managing their care by providing access to financial assistance, legal aid, job placement, and education/training. Ms. Bifergaane founded two social service units by working collaboratively with national and international organizations. Since then, she also worked with Families Building Community as a community representative and provided emotional support to families in need. Today she continues to volunteer with Queens Community House by fundraising and participating in leadership rallies and workshops. She is fluent in French and Arabic. She has a BA in Social Work from the Institute for Health Careers in Rabat, Morocco.
