Denim Day and Sexual Assault Awareness Month

For Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), our after-school Girls’ Club created “mini jeans” for a special clothesline project. Each group member wrote a slogan to educate their peers about sexual assault. The girls also challenged our staff to come up with their own awareness slogans for blue ribbons that were displayed throughout our office. The month ended with a special Denim Day celebration, during which the staff and Girls’ Club all wore denim. Check out pictures from our SAAM events below.
