Aiding Survivors at the Queens Family Justice Center

April 7, 2022

For the 75% of Queens Family Justice Center clients born outside the U.S., our Anti-Violence program team is there to help survivors access the resources they need to begin their healing journey. Speaking 10 languages including Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin, Russian, and more, our AVP Case Managers & Advocates offer support in safety planning, applying for public benefits, mental health services and legal help for orders of protection, divorce and immigration proceedings. Thank you to our QFJC partners, Safe Horizon, Korean American Family Service Center, and the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic Gender Based Violence for all their work supporting survivors.
