COVID-19 Resources and Program Updates

As a provider of essential services, AAFSC remains open during the ongoing COVID-19 emergency in New York. We have worked with city and state agencies to move our services to confidential teleconferencing arrangements and remote learning schedules to continue safely serving our vulnerable immigrant and refugee clients.

AAFSC has created comprehensive COVID-19 guides in English, Arabic, Bangla, and Urdu that provides information on how to access resources aimed at supporting New Yorkers during the coronavirus outbreak, including housing assistance, food assistance, and healthcare navigation.

Please access our COVID-19 guide by clicking a translation below:

COVID-19 Vaccine

Dr. Abass Noor, MD, Resident Physician at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, recently presented information about the COVID-19 vaccine to AAFSC staff members and held a Q&A session to share vital information and reduce misinformation. The video can be accessed below for viewing.

For additional information about the COVID-19 vaccine in New York, including how and where to receive it, please review this FAQ document from the City of New York in English, বাংলাالعربية , اردو, Español, and Français.
