During Sexual Assault Awareness Month, you can help AAFSC raise $2,000 for a video public service announcement (PSA) about violence against women and girls. With our PSA, we can educate the community about gender-based violence and issue a call to action.
Did you know that 1 in 4 women will be a victim of violence in her lifetime? Violence affects women across all platforms, regardless of age, socioeconomic background, education level, race, ethnicity, or religion. At AAFSC, we work work with survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual violence in the New York City Arab American community. However, a video PSA will allow us to share information with a wider audience and help us prevent violence through education.
